Tecno Phantom 5 specification review, price

You remember Tecno Phantom 5 Android phone? You should remember. In this post I shall cover the Tecno Phantom 5 specifications review and price. Yes I said you should remember especially if you are a Mymobnet! regular reader because I was about the first to publish the launch photos of Tecno Phantom 5 in Nigeria. Find the beautiful pictures here which featured M.I as a guest artist 🙂

So what really is in Tecno Phantom 5? When I published the first launch photos in September 29, 2015, I remember that I got loads of feedback based on the price of the smartphone which was considered to be on the high side them at N70,000! What is the price now and why is this Tecno phone ‘expensive’?

The Operating system:

This smart device came in around the time, last quarter of 2015 precisely, when Lollipop OS was a very big thing, it still is and its probably the most stable modern Android OS you can get now. What if Tecno mistakenly loaded the device with something lower than Lollipop 5.1? The device would certainly be obsolete and Tecno may have ended up buying the phones for their kids and staffs. But this isn’t the case. The Phantom 5 appears to be way ajead of its time and as far as I can tell, the device will still be around for a while, chiefly because of its other features that are simply next generation for phones of its class. We shall see this as it unfolds.

Internal Memory:

Perhaps the most outstanding thing about the Tecno Phantom 5 is its 32GB internal memory! THis is the very first time Tecno is offering something as huge as this! many people see it as a singular justifcation for the initial high cost of the device. 32GB is about what you need in order to fully utilise a smartphone. Be sure to download as much apps as you want and still find extra space for the temporal storage of your phones cache and other data.

Unlike other Tecno devices that were made of pure plastic covers, this Phantom 5 has a metal cover. The feel gives you extra boost and confidence and of course value for your money.

4G LTE network will soon be the talk of the day in Nigeria especially with the recent MTN’s acquisation of Visafone network. Yes the Phantom 5has 4G network enabled in it and it operates in about 11 different bands of network from 2G to 3G to 4G networks. THis is amazing and simply makes the device outstanding. Little wonder Tecno is spending much resources to remote the device.

Take a look at what the device looks like below:
